01 May 2008 Hi, Friends.. i want to know about import procedure ( practical aspacts). Is there any system of online filing of documents to custom deparments and clearance of custom authorities of impoted items.

02 May 2008 You can file documents online through ICEGATE but for that you have to have a software dowload from www.icegate.in
if you want to know the how to clear goods tell me the port where you want to clear your goods and item you are importing any shcme under which you want your clearance then it would be feasible to tell you the procedure

06 May 2008 Hi, Mr. Vardan thanks for taking interest in my question. I have downloaded the EDIpackage of the site of ICEGATE. Pls guide me how to use SQL SERVER SERVICE and to generate uploadable format of BE and IGM, however i have filled all the desired datails in the form and generated check list of BE.
