05 August 2011 The question is not clear, do u mean cash payments for octroi and freight?

1. Octroi is paid to the government. Hence the provisions of 40A(3) are not applicable by virtue of Rule 6DD(b).

2. Payments for freight above Rs.35,000 made in cash are disallowed.
