Go to Ministry of Company Affairs Site via this link "www.mca.gov.in".
There at the bottom u will find a hyperlink displaying as "Director Identification Number". Just click on it
Then select "Apply for DIN" and then in sub-window select "Directors"
A form will be generated, just fill in the details of the person for whom u want DIN, and then click on submit and take out its hard copy.
-Attach photo,
-get it signed below the photo and at the bottom of second page by the concerned person,
-attach the supportive documents to authenticate identity of which details are provided in the form, and
-get the supportive documents attested by a Chartered or any other gazetted officer.
After exercising all this, just login to MCA site and select "Pay Miscellaneous Fee" and in sub-window select "DIN Application Fee" and then click on Pay.
And then its upto u whether u want to pay via creditcard or via challan in the Bank.
the moment u select the mode of payment "SRN" no. is generated. Mention this SRN no. in the form's upper most box.
and the last thing u need to do is just get this form submitted in physical form in the DIN Cell in Noida.
If nothing is missed out, u will be alloted a DIN No. and will be informed via mail.
