I'm a Indian citizen & have recently moved to US (Oct 2011). Do I need to convert all my bank accounts to NRI account or I can continue to keep them without converting? If I need to convert them to NRI account when should I do the same?

If you have moved to US, you should convert your bank account to NRO or NRE accounts as the case may be

If you are intending to be there,Better convert them to NRO & Parallel NRE will be opened by same bank.Almost all branches of Good Banks are around the world.simply visit any overseas branch .
