what is loss to borrower in banks delay in classifying borrower's account as npa.

When A/c is classified as NPA then bank should reverse the Interest charged On borrowers accounts. Further, borrower has to obtain No due certificate from all bank before applying to loan to other bank in specified Scheme...

Banks are now a days are required to send credit information to SIBIL which maintains the data regarding the credit history of borrower.
The bank may send this information to SIBIL and the borrower will face difficulty in getting loan from other banks.
