Can both be availed at same time? for example if my PY turnover is less than 400 lakhs and this year turnover is 160 lakhs , then I have to pay 1% (160-150)? Please suggest any decided case law in this context. Urgent

You can avail the SSI exemption upto 1.5cr when your turnover is below 4cr in the preceding financial year.

But my question is After availing the exemption under 8/2003 can i get the benefit of Notification 1/2011 by paying ED @ 2% on turnover above 150 lacs.

Exempted small units, having turnover below Rs. 150 lakhs, which are exempt from duty, are also exempt from provisions of registering their unit with excise authorities even if the products are fall under the notification no. 1/2011 by paying excise duty 2%.

Is there any assessee or any commissioner ( with name and jurisdiction alongwith date ) who has allowed Notification 8/2003 upto 150 lacs and Notification 1/2011 above 150 Lakhs?
