10 July 2010 If I 've filed manual returns of tax audit cases (Ind. & HUF) up to 09/07/2010. Whether this Notification No. 49/2010[F.No.142/15/2010-TPL], dated 9-7-2010 applicable to these assessees also ?

Whether I have to re-file all my tax audit case returns as per this notification again?

10 July 2010 The notification has been issued just 1 day before. There is no clear mention of this fact.
My suggestion is wait for sometime, i am sure govt.w ill come out with some announcement regarding the same because, this is the common point related to many people. And i don;t think that you may be required to re file it.
So i think we can wait for sometime, also ta tax audit date is 30-09-2010. So not too much to worry.......

Also, the follwing thing can be done >
The clauses (ii) & (iii) of Rule 12 sub rule 3 provides for the filing

(ii) Furnishing the return electronically under digital signature;
(iii) Transmitting the data in the return electronically and thereafter submitting the verification of the return in Form ITR-V;

In view of this, my opinion for your query is that it is better , if you update the data of your return electronically and then submit the verification of the return along with acknowledgment of the paper return already filed.
This is my view on the safer side.
