I had file return relating to AY 08-09 on 16-02-2010 so my question are

1) what is the time period for issuance of notice u/s 143
2) i had received notice same on 25-10-2010. whether same is valid or not

also send me reference case if any

pls reply me its very urgent

The return you have filled attract the penalty u/s271 of Rs.5000 as you have filed return after 31 march 09.

The notice u/s 143 is valid as limit start from date of submission of return.
