I have received notice under section 142(1) for the assessment year 2007-08.Sir,can anyone tell me the time limit u/s 142(1)of the Income Tax Act, 1961

Notice u/s 142 ( 1) can be issued when
assessee has not file the return and time limt
u/s 139 ( 1) is over. However , it can also be
issued to the person who has filed the retrun
to produce documents /records as required thr
