Dear sir
I have received a notice under sec 139 from Income Tax on 8th oct 2011 for non quoting pan for fy 2009-10 period.
Letter date is 19.08.2011 posted on 29.09.2011 and I have recd it on 8th oct 2011.
Pls advise me that whether this notice shall be valid for me to accept and should I reply it as I have filed my return for the said fy on 25th march 2011

without PAN return can not be sumitted, you may have skipped to quote some deductor details, accept and send compliance.
