26 June 2007 Hello All,

Does it require to give notice for board meeting to a foreign director.

Also is it require to give written notice to a director who is in the same office.

Please help me.

26 June 2007 yes it is necessary to give the notice the both type of director whether indian /nri

30 June 2007 According to provisions of Companies Act, notice of board meeting should be given to all the directors then in India. But if the director resides outside India a notice given to Indian address leaves no use. Hence, notice should be given to all directors outside India also.
