15 January 2012 Hello,

A known person of mine is working in Central Govt.. TDS was deducted from his salary & remitted by the employer (govt.) But his PAN no is not appearing in the Form 16A provided by the employer. He without noticing it, filed the Tax returns... Now he has received notice from IT dept stating tax was not remitted to his PAN account...

How to deal with this situation?
