Notice for profession tax

18 October 2014 I have received notice for profession tax for liability on proprietor for Cable operation but i not register cable.

Pls suggest how i can reply on this notice.

You will be required to proper registration & pay requisite fees / penalty charged by them.

18 October 2014 I am not doing any cable operator business then how it is possible to pay such liability

18 October 2014 You have not mentioned that you are not doing business of cable operator.

In this case if you are required to reply to dept. with your registration details along with payment proof.

If there is an error from there side then they will rectify the same & you dont need to be worry.

Subject:- Grievance against Notice of hearing under sub rule (2) of Maharashtra Tax on Profession Tax, Trade Calling and Employments Rules, 1975 to a person who has failed to get himself enrolled.

Dear Sir,

I undersigned received notice on the above mentioned subject matter from yours concern office but it is informed to you that I am not doing cable operator bussines and not a register Cable Operator hence I am not liable to get Profession Tax enrolment certificate as well as not liable to pay any profession Tax liability.

It is further requested kindly eradicate the genreated notice against my name as the earlist.

I am also ensuring to provide any futher information if require on the above subject for eradicating the generated notice.

18 October 2014 Its looks good & perfect, However only mentioning in reply that you are not doing said business is not sufficient, i suggest you to give them details of existing reg. no. which you are carring on from same premises.
