respected sir
we have not file income tax return f.y 2009-2010
our total turn over is 49,00,000(forty nine lacks )we audited our books on time 15-06-2010 but we not file income tax return timely and we have tds certificate is 267300-and we want refund maximum 2,00,000-00
what can i do now??????and how much penalty ?????????
please reply me soon as you possible any one

The refund is depending on your Tax liability.. If you have not filed your return for FY 09-10, but time is still there you can file on or before 31st March 2012..
Since you have obtained your Tax Audit Report well within time there is no levy of penalty, however interest may be levied for late filing...

You can file return till 31-03-2012. If accounts are audited well in time no penalty will attract for audit.
As you have not submitted return till 31.03.2011 penalty for late filling of return attracts u/s. 271F.
If your TDS is more than tax liability as per your return no interest will be charged under any of the provision.
Excess TDS will be refundable along with interest, if return is submitted before 31.03.2012.

First you should file the return online as to-day is the last day. You file the same before 12 night. Thereafter the matter will be decided whether you are liable for penalty or not for further details you can contact at ssunderagarwal@gmail.com
