Not able to file rectification online

05 July 2011 Hello,
I got the rectification order dated 10-12-10 from CPC on 4/7/11 in which there is demand of tax. I was trying to file rectification online but not able to file. As after giving all the basic information it is saying ur input details are not matching. I have tried I4 not 14.

Please let me know what to do?

06 July 2011 when its rectification order, 2nd time rectification can not be filed,
you have to opt for appeal against this order.

06 July 2011 I do not agree with Mr. Sharma. In fact there is a time limit for rectification of the order and if your rectification petition is rejected then only you have to file the Appeal.

Now, do one thing you take the original form which you have uploaded. Rectify the mistake get a print and along with petition u/s 154 you send the same to Banglore Office it will be rectified.

06 July 2011 You can file rectification petition with CPC, Bangalore in writing pointing out the mistake you want to get rectified alongwith supporting documents.

Please read the query once again, its the "rectification order" which was issued against the "rectification submission" so how an assesee can file rectification second time for same assessment year?
