non submission of Excise Returns

23 May 2010 Sir,
After getting Registration Certificate from the department my client had not submitted any return with the department and the department had also not issued any show cause in this case. What procedure I should opt.

24 May 2010 You have to regularise now. Otherwise you will land up in paying interest if applicable and penalty for non submission and delay in payment if any.
