Non - Receipt of ITR-V for AY 2009-10

27 March 2011 Hello,

I got a notification stating :
"Non - Receipt of ITR-V for AY 2009-10 at Income Tax Department-CPC, Bangalore - Treated as Invalid.

An Electronic Return bearing the acknowledgment nos 102990730101209 for AY 2009-10 was uploaded by you to the Income Tax Department on 10-DEC-09.

Under the circumstances, the Electronic Return uploaded by you as per acknowledgment number mentioned above cannot be proceeded with and is deemed never to have been filed since it is not duly verified by you in terms of provisions of section 139 of Income Tax Act ,1961. Accordingly the said return is herewith treated as invalid. ".

I somehow forgot to post the IVR after uploading the XML.

It would be really helpful if someone could tell me what I should do now. Is is possible to post the 2009-10 IVR now?

27 March 2011 You should immediately file a fresh return for AY 09-10 as the earlier return is invalid and last date for filing return for AY 09-10 is 31.03.11

27 March 2011 As given advise you have to file your return of A.Y. 09-10 immediately and also don't forget to send the ITRV to bangalre.
