19 June 2010 Hi,
Can a pvt. ltd co., not filing its returns for the period of 4 years, appoint an auditor in the current year and get audited for all the 4 previous years and file the pending returns under EES scheme.

What are the steps to be followed both for Income Tax Returns & ROC filings.

19 June 2010 Hai parthsarathi yes u can file the returns but the appointment of the auditor should be done in previous year dates and file the roc returns but in case of income tax returns you can file only A.Y 2009-10 and 2011-12 only

21 June 2010 I partially agree with Mr. Kishore. In my view, appointment can be done in the current year for auditing previous year's accounts. However, this will highlight more non-compliance before the ROC.
