Non compliance of filing it returns of previous years

06 August 2013 Does non compliance of filing IT returns of Previous year has an impact on company current year Return filing ?
My query is x comp doesnt file IT returns for last 3 years .It is not possible to file IT returns for previous years
so does non compliance of filing IT returns of prev years( 2010-11, 2011-12) of comp have an effect on current year filing i.e 2012-13?

06 August 2013 NO, each assessment year is seperate, so it should not be problem to file current year return.

Though due date of filling of return for FY 11-12 is expired you can file belated return for same FY,
