No of attempts for PCC & IPCC students

31 January 2011 Sir,

there is any limit for maximum number of PCC & IPCC exam attempts.

Hope to get a quick & an affable feedback.

kindly also provide the source of your answer.

31 January 2011 A. The maximum no. of attempts one can give with one registration no. is "FIVE"

B. Moreover, to extend the attempts, one has to pay the re-registration fees or has an option to re-register itself with new new registration no. altogether.

31 January 2011 sir, in your link one expert says that no limit and other one says the same as your answer then what we can do.

31 January 2011 AS far as PEII was concerned, there was the limt of 5 attempts but in case of PCC/IPCC there is no any limit is specified till now.

31 January 2011 It is presumed because the institute is silent on this matter from the beginnig of launch of PCC/IPCC. In PEII it was clearly stated in the prospectus. So, the time till when institute isn't saying nehing on this matter it will be taken as endless attempts.

i have read the prospects of PCC as well as training guide also but i have not found any clause regarding the same.
