Could you please tell me whether The Interest received on The National Housing Bank (NHB) Capital Gain Bonds is exempt.. The Interest rate is 6%. & also, the interest is received through cheque. Please let me know if any provisions regarding this are there. Thank you. - Shashank

The interest received on captal gain bond is taxable.
