I want to know the whole procedure to form NGO and how much time it takes to form and all the legal compliances to do.

An NGO can be formed by registering a trust under the charitable trusts act,1957 for the benefit of a group at large by registering the trust deed with the regional registrar of trusts....or you can register yourself as a society with charitable objects under the societies registration Act,1860.
And the trust can come into picture/existence soon as the trust deed is registered by paying the required fees and compliances to the satisfaction of the registrar.
