12 February 2011 1. I have some doubt about converting pcc to ipcc please clarify I have all ready completed my Articleship (27 jan 2011) and till not cleared any group in pcc. If i convert to ipcc 15 FEB 2011 when i can write my ipcc exam? please help me its urgent

ICAI ANSWER You can appear ensuing examination of IPCC after conversion into IPCC and filling examination form.

IF YOU KNOW REGISTRATION NUMBER THEN YOU CAN FILL THE FORM...

ITS BETTER DO CONVERSION AND FILL THE FORM, ICAI WILL EXPLAIN YOU CLEARLY..THERE RULES THEY CAN ONLY UNDERSTAND..THEY WILL BE CHAINING EVERY TIME..

04 August 2024 Based on the information provided by ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), here’s how you can proceed with converting from PCC (Professional Competence Course) to IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course) and when you can appear for your IPCC exams:

1. **Conversion from PCC to IPCC:**
- You have completed your Articleship on 27th January 2011.
- You convert to IPCC on 15th February 2011.

2. **IPCC Examination Eligibility:**
- According to ICAI, you can appear for the IPCC examination in the ensuing attempt after your conversion to IPCC and filling the examination form.
- This means if you convert to IPCC and fill the examination form in time for the May 2011 attempt, you can appear for the IPCC exams in May 2011.

3. **Filling Examination Form:**
- You do not necessarily need to wait for the registration letter of IPCC to fill the examination form for the May 2011 attempt.
- First, apply for conversion to IPCC.
- Once converted, proceed to fill up the examination form for the May 2011 IPCC exams.
