28 September 2012 Hi Friends,

One of my friend wants to get issued a PAN no. for himself but as he belongs from rural area he doesn't have any identity or address proof.
All he can show for his identity is his matriculation certificate & for address proof , his bonafide certificate (Mool niwas praman patra).

Please advice whether he can apply for a PAN with above said documents or not.

TO WHOM SO EVER IT MAY CONCERN

AND get it signed by gazetted officer.

IT ACTS AS A PROOF FOR PAN AS ID AND ADDRESS

28 September 2012 Thank you Harikrishna JI....he has made the online payment for the same of Rs. 96. is there any time limit to submit the documents to nsdl.

13 December 2012 yes with in 15 days from the date of online filing we have to send the documents to nsdl
