31 October 2012 We are shifting few machines from old to New Factory..
So, while moving machines out of old factory we will be paying duty from old unit and taking credit of same in new factory.

But, have some confusion in calculation of duty in the above case.
For e.g.
List of Machines transferred in the month of October 2012:-
1. Machine purchased on 15/01/2009 - Cenvat amt. 61523..of which credit availed in 2009-10 of rs. 30762 and in year 2010-11 of rs. 30762.
totally duty amount availed and utilized as on date.
2. Machine purchased on 05/04/2012- Cenvat amt. rs.378216/-..of which credit availed in current year 2012-13 of 189108 and remaining to be availed in next year 2013-14.

Please guide..

01 November 2012 Yes, you are right. SSI (1.5-4cr) unit can avail 100% cenvat credit on capital goods.

08 November 2012 i am confused in calculation of duty amount which old factory unit would be payable on removal of machines from old factory..

for such confusion i have taken two example..help m out with the help of example from point of view of old factory..
