14 August 2013 Hello!

We all know that the new companies bill is passed.
But would we have The New Companies Act for CA final May 14 Attempt?

Please do tell me if anyone has an idea!

14 August 2013 no official notification yet.. for may-2014 attempt... but if signed by the president.. most probably it would be applicable...

14 August 2013 yes icai will announce the applicability of companies bill once it is published in official gazette

as of now following ammendments /announcmenets released by icai which is relevant for nov2013,nov2014 exams

15 August 2013 FLASH!!!!

1)clarified that the proposed Companies Act, 2013 will not be applicable for the Intermediate (IPC) and Final Examinations to be held in May 2014.

2)Regarding the applicability for November 2014 Examination, the decision will be taken based on the exact date of enactment of the above Companies Bill into the Act.
