25 August 2012 An assessee has started his New Business, earlier he is in an employment. Now he brings in his old vehicle purchased few years ago and uses it for Biz. purpose. What would be the WDV to calculate amount of depreciation on such vehicle?

26 August 2012 Calculate depreciation from date of purchase till introduction in business. WDV will be the amount left in vehicle as on 1st April of that P.Y.
