hello to all of u can someone please tell me that if it is necessary to convert nazul land which is in perpetual lease into freehold land for obtaining NOC(no objection certificate) for residential purpose???? in lucknow u.p

Leasehold property does not have ownership rights and therefore it is necessary to convert it into freehold land which will given you the status of owner otherwise you have no rights to sale the property, you might be given permission for construction in that case you are the owner for only the construction and not for the land.
