Dear Professional Brothers,
My query is
Can a HUF name can be changed? If yes, then how?
Further that, Can the name be changed in PAN data also and can the Income Tax return be filed with the same PAN but with changed name?

I do not think you can change the HUF Name.

The name of the HUF may be changed. For example:
A.K.Goel, HUF
New Name:
A.K.Goel & Sons, HUF
Pl note the membership and the constitution being natural will remain the same.
Change in name can be applied for an update of your records with the Income TAx Authorities. However, your PAN will remain the same.
