27 February 2019 Dear Experts, Please let me know MSME certificate is District wise applicable or is it applicable for whole enterprise?
Actually our company is registered as SMALL under MSME Act but certificate has issued DISTRICT INDUSTRIES CENTRE , AHMEDABAD Government of Gujarat as our factory is at Gujarat and company's registered address is Mumbai, Maharastra. So, please guide me may I use the MSME certificate for the Mumbai customer.

Registration of a unit is done only ones and the will cover the entire country.

As per your information since your company/unit is in Gujarat and the certificate as been issued in Gujarat then in the case your jurisdiction to file the case would be Gujarat not Mumbai and yes with the certificate you can file cases against any buyers.
