what are miscellaneous expenses? is there a certain percentage of turnover allowed as miscellaneous expenses which a company can incur?

Expenses which do not fall within any other catagory, falls within miscellaneous exp. There is no limit or % on turnover. But it should be at Minimum as far as possible.

what can be consiered the minimum level? since we have companies with varying turnovers, so we cannot estimate each on the same parameter. how much can be considered for a company of turnover say 50crores?

It can be Appx. 5% on total expenditure but we can measure it on the basis of turnover.
