Query 1. What is the minimum age for becoming a director in private company? Query 2. Whether a student (who is foreign national studying in Chennai, India) can become a director in private company?

1) 18 Years is the minimum age.
2) Yes a foreign student can become a director provided he has completed 18 years of age.

In case of public company its 25 as per sch 13 and in case of pvt company nothing is mention but he should not be minor.. so he have to be more than 18
