MGT 14 filing is generally not required for private limited companies when financial statements are adopted at an Annual General Meeting (AGM). Unlike public companies, which need to file board resolutions for financial statement adoption, private companies are exempt from this requirement. 24 September 2020 for pvt ltd company not required to file for adoption of fs in agm

01 October 2020 In none of the cases, resolution for adoption in AGM is required to be filed.

Only Board resolution (not AGM Resolution) for adoption of FS is required to be filed for Public Companies.
