Hello freinds, I cleared my CA final exams in june 2009, I need certain clarification on the following matters.:
1. Is there any time limit for obtaining member ship no.?
2. Currently, I am not working any where, can I aplly for Membership no. without employers details?
3. In January 09 I appeared for IRDA Agents Licencing exam & have obtained licence for acting as life insurance advisor. Do I need to intimate institute in form 112 regarding the same? Will I be allowed to hold the licence or do i need to surrender?
Kindly advise.

You can not hold licence/agency of any Insurance companies. Either you don't apply for CA membership or surrender the Insurance agency otherwise it will amount to professional ethics.
