HOW TO APPLY MEIS CERTIFICATE

Hi
While doing exports please select "yes" against rewards coloumn of Shipping Bill.
After completion of exports and receipt of payment ....
Importer shall file on-line application with DGFT through form ANF 3A for MEIS License.
The relevant SB and e-BRC shall be linked with online application
Where the reward under MEIS is available to specified countries, documents for proof of landing as specified in the policy also need to be attached along with the application
Port of registration may be any one of the ports from where the exports are made
Application for MEIS to be filed within ….
12 months from the date of Let Export Order (LEO) or
3 months from the date of uploading of EDI SB onto the DGFT Server by Customs
Whichever is later
