15 November 2010 what are the provisions relating to medical reimbursement????
One of my friends get his father operation for the same company reimburse the amount of Rs 3lakh ,whether it is taxable or not???

15 November 2010 medical reimbursement on voucher basis - is tax free up to Rs 15,000/- p.a.

So if the medical allowance is more than RS. 15000.00 the person will get exemption on RS. 15000.00.

If person is not providing the bills of medical and are taking the allowance then the entire amount would be taxable.
