04 August 2014 I have medical allowances of Rs. 21000.It is included in bifurcation of salary in form 16 but not shown under head exempt allowances under section 10. can i claim it in income tax return?

04 August 2014 Fixed Medical Allowance is taxable. The exemption is with regard to reimbursement of medical bills upto Rs.15000 p.a. Since you have recd. Medical Allowance, it is taxable.
