I want to know whether one can avail exemption of Rs.15000 PA towards Medical Expenses, if the company is paying him a fixed monthly Medical Allowance @Rs.10000 PM, as a part of Salary.Thanx in advance.

If any employee received fixed medical allowance, which will fully taxable, but, if employee receives medical reimbursement after submitting medical bills, than exemption Rs.15,000/- amount limit will be applicable.
In view of above, Rs.10000/- medical allowance fully taxable.
