Are pvt companies also exempted from filing mbp1?

There is no provisions which asks a company to file MBP-1 with ROC. No company is required to file Form MBP-1.

While filing E forms with MCA by the company for various purposes viz, appointment , retirement and other similar occasions there are various attachments to be enclosed along with the relevant E forms ,and hence we can not simply say there are no provisions in the Act to file some of the supporting forms referred to in the Act ,namely DIR 2 , MBP 1 etc ... ie , MBP 1 would be treated as optional form to be annexed with DIR 12
