31 October 2009 Hello everyone...I am an new user on this site.
I have a query regarding my career...all of you are experts and knowledgeable people and I hope that I will get a good response and your help will be beneficial for my career...

I am doing MBA-Finance(major) & Marketing(minor) from ICFAI National College, Shimla affiliated to ICFAI Unviversity Dehradun. I am also doing CFA from ICFAI universtity Tripura (distance learning)...my MBA will complete in March 2010 and I am searching for a job in Finance or Accounts or some administrative job...I have registered with some consultants also...I am very confused about my career...what to do and what not to do...what kind of job will I get and where will I get a good job...and do you think that working with a CA will be beneficial for me ?...

I hope that you have understood my confusion and will help me so that I can do well in my career.

31 October 2009 MBA is ok from icfai, but CFA is not gud in ICFAI and no scope of that.If you have done from US it was very much scope...you can join companies, if you join frim you will get exposure of accounts, you done cfa and mba finance then go with finance field and join in company..All the best

01 November 2009 Thanks for your guidance sir...but I need to know alot more about my career and I have so many queries regarding it...and I hope you people will again help me...

Everybody has different view on CFA from ICFAI...some say its good from Indian perspective but not from global perspective...I want to know whether with this profile (MBA+CFA), what is the entry level position that I will get in a company...because in Shimla there is no scope for this profile and I am also a fresher and have experience in sales and marketing only but have genuine interest in Finance field and to make my career in this field only...so do you people have any suggestions regarding the companies where I can apply and my preferred locations are (chandigarh+mohali+panchkula+delhi+ncr+gurgaon)...what kind of preprations do I need to have to get an entry level position in the company where I will be able to apply to have a good career in this field...
