i have given my 1st attempt in nov16 where i have just attempted group1st but i m not sure about pass aur fail nd now i want to start preparing 2nd group...pls advice which subjects to take up first nd how to prepare??

Go by the interest of your choice, it could be either direct or indirect tax or Costing or ISCA. You know that it would take sometime for the latest material of Direct and Indirect Tax book applicable for your May 2017 examination to be available in the market.
Till that time you may focus on QT / OR part of AMA as is it relatively easy and build your interest and closely start studying on Costing concepts. Once, the tax books are available start mixing the subjects and cover your portions gradually. All the very best.
