Respected Seniors,
Good morning,
We are going to revise salary breakup in our organisation. I need your help.
Is there any monetary limit of the following for I.Tax exemption :-
1. Fuel reimbursement,
2. Uniform Allowance,
3. Meal Coupons(Sodexho Passes).
Please clarify again.

Hello,
Good Morning.
In general the Fuel reimbursement should happen within one week of Salary payment. However it can vary based on the MOU with the Employees.
It is better to pay the Uniform Allowance in advance for the first year as the Employee will be a new joinee. From subsequent years it can be paid at the end of the year or half year as the case may be.
