, can u plz tell me if I take a home loan . And my monthly emi 5000 per month than can take deduction( 5000 *12= 60000) of it. Plz mam

29 June 2011 For the principal portion of EMI you will get deduction upto Rs 100000/-(together with other eligible investments) under setion 80C.

On interest portion of your home loan you will get deduction upto Rs 150000/- under section 24.
