can u plz tell me that at the time of fill challan 280 to deposit income tax with e - payment. which code we use to paid income tax. detail are given below
Advance Tax (100)
Surtax (102)
Self Assessment Tax (300)
Tax on Distributed Profits of Domestic Companies (106)
Tax on Regular Assessment (400)
Tax on Distributed Income to Unit Holders (107)
please tell me that which code we use to paid incom etas. plz sir

08 June 2012 100 or 300 as the case may be. 100 for advance tax, 300 for self assessment tax.

08 June 2012 If amt of tax exceeds 10000, then advance tax liablity arised then in case of 15th june,15thsep,15th Dec & 15th Mar,at or before if payment is made then code of advance tax (100) come otherwise code of self assessment tax 300 came payment to be made after 31st mar
