12 September 2009 My question is :

Our company has paid the previous year tax as per the MAT, but the entry of the same is not reflected in the books of accounts, so can we get the credit of the MAT in the current year or the coming year as per the I.T Return filed by us.

12 September 2009 It is not possible that entry not reflacted in the books of accounts. i think it is somewhere transfer to any reserve account or exp. a/c. You can definately get the credit of MAT in current year or coming year anytime.
