Marks and quantum of answer

This query is : Resolved

19 March 2016 whether there is any principle as to marks allotted and the quantum of answer to be written, Eg: for 4 marks question -1.5 pages and for 6 marks questions- 2 pages ?

whether the provisions of sole selling agent as per companies act 1956 is still applicable? because companies act 2013 is silent as to it?

25 March 2016 The marks are awarded by the evaluator based on the content which you write. A question carrying four marks can fetch you maximum marks, if you write all the relevant / important points forming part of the answer, which could either be five to six points or half page in a theory based paper, where the evaluator could give a markings between two to three marks. On the other hand a practical paper, there is no way to suggest it can be finished in half page or two pages, so you must ensure to cover all the steps and working notes in your answer in order to get full marks.

Similarly, a question carrying six marks would require you to either write seven to eight relevant and important points or finish it within one or one and half pages.
