Dear Sir,
One of my client is manufacturer of Foodgrain processing machines and his yearly sales would be around 1 crore.
Please advise me, whether the foodgrain processing machines are exempt from central excise?

For SSI unit till the turnover exceeds 1.50 Cr. no excise duty is payable.
