Sir,I have invested cash in commodity through broker He has paid me profit of 5lakhs through cheque in my account Do I need to maintain any document for this profit or Is it look out of broker?

Since it is you income as it is now routed through bank you need to maintain proper documentation.
Specially the source of fund you invested.
If you can receive the profits in cash from your broker then no need to maintain papers
