14 February 2019 SIR I HAVE PURCHASED SHARES 2000 @ 500 iIN FY 2016-17 AND SOLD INCURRENT FY 2018-19 @ 630.00 HOW TO CALCULATE TAX LIABILITIES IN FY 2018-19

15 February 2019 cost of acquisition shall be higher of a) cost or b) lower of fair market value as on 31.01.2018 or full value of consideration received.
If above calculation results in capital gain then it shall be charges as long term capital gain to be taxed at 10% in excess of Rs. 1,00,000. you shall also have basic tax exemption advantages.
In your case check highest trading value of the share as on 31.01.2018 and calculate capital gain accordingly.
