Kindly provide me the information regarding treatment of Loss arising from the Sale of Long term capital asset (equity shares) with relate to exemption u/s 10(38).

there is no treatment of the long trem loss arising from sale of the sahre since long term capital gain arising from sale of equity sahre is exempt.

LTCG ON LISTED SHARE ON TRADING OF THAT STT HAS BEEN CHARGED IS EXEMPTED U/S 10(38) THEREFORE LOSS IN THESE TYPES OF SHARES SHOULD BE IGNORED.
